The free plan gives you 10 traces, 3 saved tools, and 2 bins — no card required.

Your first trace

  1. Take a photo — place your tools on a sheet of A4 or Letter paper on a contrasting surface. The paper is used as a size reference so the outlines come out at real-world scale.
  2. Upload — from the app home page, drag and drop your photo onto the uploader (or click to browse). JPG, PNG, WebP, and HEIC are all supported.
  3. Mark the paper corners — drag the four corner handles onto the edges of the paper in your photo. Pick whether it's A4 or Letter.
  4. Run the trace — click *Trace* and the AI will generate silhouette masks for each tool it detects. This usually takes 10–30 seconds.
  5. Pick your tools — after tracing, click to select which tools you want to keep. Selected tools are saved to your library.

From there you can edit the outlines, add cutouts, and drop the tools into a bin.

  • Home — your tool library and bin list.
  • Tool editor — click any saved tool to edit its outline, add cutouts, flip/rotate, and export SVG.
  • Bin editor — create a bin, configure Gridfinity dimensions, drag tools in, and export STL/3MF for printing.
