What counts as a trace, monthly resets, and plan limits.

Free traces don't expire but the monthly bonus doesn't stack — use it or lose it. Pro resets monthly. Cancel any time.
What counts as a trace
Running the AI trace step on a photo uses one trace. Re-editing an already-traced tool, creating bins, and exporting files do not consume traces.
Manual tracing (uploading your own mask) also counts as a trace — it still goes through the processing pipeline.
Monthly resets
Trace counts reset on the 1st of each calendar month (UTC), regardless of when your billing period started.
Tool limits
Tool limits are checked when you save tools from a trace. If you're at your limit, you'll need to delete existing tools before saving new ones. Bins don't count toward tool limits.
Upgrading and downgrading
Upgrade from the pricing page or your dashboard. Downgrades and cancellations are managed through the Stripe customer portal, linked from your dashboard billing page. On downgrade, your existing tools are kept but you won't be able to save new ones if you're over the new limit.
